RECEPTION IN WILMSLOW AREA
Wilmslow located is 37 km from the Winter Hill transmitter from where your
Digital Signals are broadcast from, Reception from Wilmslow is
reasonable but the main problem is the amount of trees which can
disrupt the signal arriving at your Aerial.
We have fitted the Traix Supergain 18 with multiple feeds without
any amplification in Wilmslow, but on some properties Masthead
Amplifiers were used due to poor signal conditions due to trees.
A Good quality such as the Triax Supergain 14 is adequate
for reception for one television. If you require a multi point
installation then the Triax Supergain 18 or VNX 52 may be needed to
compensate for the loss of signal through the Masthead splitter, go
