RECEPTION IN LEIGH AREA
Leigh is
located approx 6 miles from the Digital Transmitter at Winter hill
due its close proximity to the transmitter signal is very rarely a
problem although signals can be overloaded quite easily if
amplifiers are used and are not really necessary.
A lot of problems can occur with overloaded signals too
much power as once the 70db threshold level is exceeded then
break-up can occur this doesn't help if amplifiers are used as this
just creates more noise, from our experience of working in Leigh we can

analogue channels disappeared from your viewing.
