RECEPTION IN HASLINGDEN AREA
Haslingden is located close to Winter hill transmitter but
does have its own problems with regards to Digital reception, approx
half of Haslingden cannot pick any Signal from Winter Hill as it is
blocked by Hill. You then have to rely on the Whitewell relay
station which until Nov 2009 has only Analogue Signals with 4
Channels, or maybe south toward Ramsbottom which is Analogue. When this does Switchover to Digital it will only offer a Freeview Lite service with channels missing

Switchover for the Granada Region is set to take place starting 4 th
November 2009 when all analogue channels will disappear from your
viewing.
SO
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO NOW
- If your TV Aerial is old and
looks in need of repair this is the ideal opportunity to upgrade
