RECEPTION IN CHEADLE AREA
Cheadle located is 20 miles from the Winter Hill transmitter from
where your Digital Signals are broadcast from, Reception from
Cheadle is in most cases excellent but the only problem we
encounter is trees which can affect the amount of signal arriving at
your Aerial.
We have fitted the Traix Supergain 14 and Supergain 18 with multiple feeds without
any amplification in Cheadle, but on some properties Masthead
Amplifiers were used due to trees on the whole a good Signal area.
A Good quality Aerial such as Vision 15 is adequate
for reception for one television. If you require a multi point
installation then the Triax Supergain 14 or 18 may be needed to
compensate for the loss of signal through the Masthead splitter, go

Digital Switchover

The Digital
Switchover for the Granada Region is set to take place starting 4 th
November 2009 when all analogue channels will disappear from your
viewing.
SO
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO NOW
- If your TV Aerial is old and
looks in need of repair this is the ideal opportunity to upgrade
to a quality Digital Aerial.
- If you are installing a new
Television with built in Free view then maybe its time to upgrade
your Aerial to enhance your viewing experience and to ensure you
don't suffer from picture break-up.
- All your Televisions in the house
will require a good level of signal so get rid of those indoor set
top Aerials and get an Aerial system installed for all T.V. s.
